A little about Joe…

After serving for four years in the US Navy aboard the USS Ouellet, Joe attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and graduated in December 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Upon passing the CPA exam and meeting the experience requirements for the State of Texas, Joe became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in March 1998.

After working for firms in Sherman and Denison, he opened his own practice in August 2003 in Denison, Texas and has enjoyed working with his clients every day since then.

A little about Sandra…

Sandra worked as a non-profit executive in the religious sector for 25 years after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Theology, a Master’s degree in Christian History, and the coursework for a PhD in Missiology. She’s an avid autodidact who loves challenges and learning new things — which includes making the switch to accounting and earning her Enrolled Agent status from the IRS. In addition to managing the office (and Joe), Sandra assists with tax preparation and resolution cases, payroll management, and bookkeeping.

On a Personal Note

When Joe and Sandra aren’t working at the office, they also manage a small farm with KuneKune pigs, heritage breed turkeys, domestic ducks, and an unreasonable number of chickens (pick up fresh free-range eggs every day at the office!). They love spending family time with their three adult children and two grandchildren.
